When you are buying a new Dodge Charger, it often is a waste of money to purchase all the extra options right then and there. Buying the Dodge Charger OEM Fog Lights from the dealer can be EXTREMELY more expensive than buying aftermarket fog lens. That's why Tuner's Depot is happy to offer a wide selection of affordable aftermarket foglights for your Dodge Charger, some of which even featuring exclusive Euro Clear Lens and features not available from the dealer. Our Dodge Charger Spyder Clear Halo Projector Fog Light Kits are affordably priced while being just as durable as the original factory units.
Our Spyder Dodge Charger Halo Projector foglight kits use halo lighting technology (also known as angel eye lighting) to provide even more light from the regular fog lamps. By adding an extra illuminated ring around the projector (the "halo"), they give your Dodge Charger's fog lights the same glowing ring look as the higher end European headlights. Also, for these Clear Dodge Charger Spyder Halo Projector Fog Lights, the halo is left unwired, giving you the option to splice them into your Charger's parking lights, allowing you to turn only the halo ring on when you activate your parking lights. Alternatively, you could not wire them all if are expecting a more low key look from your stock Dodge Charger fog lights.
These Spyder Dodge Charger Clear Halo Projector Fog Light Kit come with all the necessary parts for installation, including fog lamp switches (where necessary), foglight wiring, fog lens bulbs, and necessary brackets. For a small price and a little elbow grease, you can have a safer ride and give your Dodge Charger that upgraded look.
- Many vehicles (especially trucks and SUV's) come with fog light harnesses pre-installed. Check around the area where the foglights are supposed to be installed and you may find stock harnesses taped inside around (usually above) the installation area. Please check for this before running a new wire harness.
- As with all light bulbs, never touch the glass of the light bulbs with your bare hands. The oil from your hands can stick to the bulb and make it explode. Either do not touch the glass of the bulb, or use clean rubber gloves while installing.
- You may get a check engine light on your Dodge Charger if you install foglights without resetting the computer. To prevent this (and for safety) you should disconnect the battery before installing fog lights onto your Charger, and reconnect the battery only after installation is complete
- If you are picky about how your dashboard looks, you may want to go to the dealer (or a junkyard that has a Charger with fog lights) and purchase a stock fog light harness and switch. These can be easily used with Spyder fog lights.
- If you plan on using an HID kit with your halo projector foglights, please use a low watt kit (usually 35w) as high watt kits (usually 55w plus) run hot and could damage the projector lenses on your Charger fog lights
