Nokya Hyundai Santa Fe Arctic Yellow Headlight bulbs are one of the best kept secrets in the industry. Though they are widely distributed throughout the industry, and their quality rivals that of the German and Japanese lighting giants, they do almost no marketing, instead pouring every dollar into the development and optimization of their Head Lamp Bulb line. The result is the unsung hero of automotive lighting and favorite of automotive enthusiasts in the know; Nokya Pro-Halogens. This pair of Hyundai Santa Fe aftermarket Head Light Bulbs is from Nokya's Arctic Yellow Bulb Line. Hyundai Santa Fe Yellow light is remarkable in that it actually provides more visibility than traditional light from clear bulbs. This is especially true in rain, snow, and foggy conditions, as the yellow color causes less glare, thus the reason many foglamp Bulbs are yellow. Nokya is proud to be one of only a handful of companies that produce a true acrtic yellow Hyundai Santa Fe High Beam bulb, and they are very popular among JDM tuners. They also serve well in fog light and high beam in applications to serve as a nice complimentary contrast to stock or white headlight colors. These Nokya Hyundai Santa Fe Replacement Head Lamp bulbs are also low wattage, preventing the chance of increased wear to your stock headlight harnesses. As with all the Hyundai Santa Fe aftermarket Headlight bulbs though, Nokya Heavy Duty harnesses are recommended as a precautionary measure.
General:
Please make sure your lights have been off for at least 5-10 minutes before attempting to install. The glass gets extremely hot and could take some time to cool down.
Make sure your Santa Fe is off and parked on a level surface. For added safety, you could disconnect your positive battery terminal to make sure you do not damage your electrical system. This is also a good idea for newer model cars that throw a check engine light when you replace your headlight bulbs.
If any dirt or oil (including skin oil) gets on the glass of the bulb it could cause the bulb to overheat and blow prematurely. For this reason, please make sure to wear clean gloves and avoid touching the glass.
Is the price listed for a single Santa Fe bulb or is it for the pair?
All the NOKYA bulbs we sell for your Santa Fe are sold by the pair. By paying the listed price, you get both bulbs. We do not have the bulbs packaged for individual sale.
How long will these NOKYA bulbs last in my Hyundai Santa Fe?
Generally speaking, if the bulbs are installed properly without leaving any dirt or oil on the surface, you could expect them to last 1-2 years. If you have any blowouts within the first couple of months, please let us know and we will be happy to replace them for you.
Do you carry BLUE headlight or fog light bulbs for my Hyundai Santa Fe?
There are only a few companies that produce truly BLUE light bulbs (not super white with a blue tint, but actually royal blue). We do not carry these types of bulbs as the coating is usually very dark resulting in a very dim beam, making them a safety hazard.
Will these bulbs burn the wire harnesses on my Hyundai Santa Fe?
Your Santa Fe's stock wire harness is not designed to withstand continuous extended usage. For that reason, we offer Nokya Replacement Harnesses to ensure long term proper lighting on your Santa Fe. They are also a far cheaper alternative to buying Santa Fe factory harnesses which lack the heat capacity of the Nokya Santa Fe harnesses.
Are these bulbs brighter than my Hyundai Santa Fe's stock Headlight / Foglight bulbs?
No. Contrary to popular belief, aftermarket bulbs add color to your high beams / low beams / fog lights by adding a tint to the glass. This tint results in a nicer beam, but blocks out a small amount of light, resulting in a slightly dimmer beam than your stock clear Santa Fe bulb would have. The color comes at the price of a LITTLE bit of brightness, but most people do not notice the difference.
Why Should I Buy Aftermarket Bulbs for My Hyundai Santa Fe's Headlights / Fog lights?
First off, the stock bulbs on your Santa Fe are going to wear out eventually. Replacing your bulbs with aftermarket headlight bulbs (or fog light bulbs) and keeping your OEM headlight bulbs for spares can be a good way to make sure you are always driving safe and minimize your chances of getting a time wasting fix-it ticket.
Also, changing your headlight bulbs can be an inexpensive, quick, and easy way to give your Santa Fe a nice personalized touch that unlike many upgrades, you can actually SEE while driving.
